Rudi Paolo Paganelli
Researcher CNR - IEIIT Bologna

Rudi Paolo Paganelli was born in Rimini on 01/14/1969. He received the degree in Electrical Engineering (microelectronics) at the university of Bologna in March 1998, and the Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the same university in February 2002. Since December 2001 he joined the CNR Institute of Electronics and Information Engineering and Telecommunications (IEIIT) in Bologna as a researcher. Since 2004 he teaches Industrial Electronics at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Bologna, based in Cesena, as a contract lecturer.
He has participated in several international projects in the field of integrated circuit design for radio and microwave frequencies. In particular, he was involved in the design of the front-end electronics of satellite radars (SAR) using the processes of the world's leading foundries of III-V semiconductors (Triquint, UMS), under the aegis of the Italian Space Agency (ASI). He has authored more than 30 papers published in refereed international conferences and journals. His interests include the characterization and modeling of nonlinear electronic devices and of piezoelectric devices, the power conversion electronics, the design of microwave circuits.
