Giuseppe Addamo
Researcher, CNR IEIIT Torino

Giuseppe Addamo was born in Messina, Italy, in 1979. He received the Laurea degree (summa cum laudae) in electronic engineering and the Ph.D. degree in electronic and communication engineering, supervisor Prof. R. Orta, at the Politecnico di Torino, Italy, in 2003 and 2007 respectively. In January 2007 he joined the Istituto di Elettronica e di Ingegneria dell'Informazione e delle Telecomunicazioni (IEIIT), as a research fellow and in 2012 he got a researcher position.
In 2008 he received the Ph.D. degree, supervisor Prof. A. Tijhuis, in Applied Electromagnetics at the Technische Universiteit Eindhoven (TU/e), Netherlands. In March 2011 he received the Laurea degree (first level) in Mathematics at University of Padua, Italy.
He holds practical classes in courses on Electromagnetic Field Theory and Mathematical Analysis at the Politecnico di Torino.
His activities mainly concern the design and numerical analysis of microwave and millimeter waveguide passive components for large cylindrical structure (e.g. leaky coaxial cables), high power feed systems (e.g. orthomode transduscer, microwave filters), corrugated horns, frequency selective surfaces and large dielectric radomes.
